You site these as necessary for conclusion yet come to a conclusion without them. The icon was in the DAM facility from Nov06 to Feb07. Most of what you mention is complete. Were it not sealed by proprietary copyright it would be here.

If the British expert has contrary evidence please post. Then ask why he tried to buy. The ask why the DAM had to force him to return it. Then look up the police reports on his activity.
Respected members I acknowledge the expertise here. But there simply has been no evidence provided other then that which I bring. If comparative sampling, palette, x-ray, a PhD's professional opinion and the authors own handwriting is not enough to a least warrant pause, perhaps no evidence will suffice. I did not return to upset anyone.
I have re-opened this topic to respectfully offer the right of first refusal to Russia's Museums. I accept that refusal. Please know I intended to open a post in the "SELL" forum. If anyone has any objections please let me know.
