It's Edward Weston, American Legend pictures! He has long since gone down in history of photography , was the first to focus on forms, photographing shells, vegetables, fruits , and nudity , something he had seen this ( trying to combine a clear picture and abstract forms )
He founded the f/64 group , together with the Anzali Adams , no less important photographer for photography.
So, the price is currently adequate.

P.S. Especially since it says " vintage " photo printed at the time, which of course greatly increases the price of the picture.
