N.Duchits, Petersburg School
Duchits Nikolai was born October 3, 1896 in Liubcha Novogrudok district of Minsk province , now Grodno , died September 3, 1980 in Minsk. He studied at the VP Ivanenko ( Novogrudok, 1910-1914) , at the Drawing School of the Imperial Art Promotion Association ( Petrograd 1914-1915 ) in VN Fedorovich and private studios . He taught in schools, workers' schools , studios in Minsk ( 1925-1939 ). Exhibitors with 1925 works are in many museums , including the funds NMA , the U.S. White House , and the Belarusian Union of Artists.
