February 1 at the Red October the exhibition "Silver City. Petersburg Photo XX-XXI centuries."
FotoDepartament brought to Moscow the work of various photographers (I think it sounded at the opening number - more than 50), different styles, but united by one theme - the theme of the city of Leningrad - St. Petersburg.
In the past year has been such an exhibition, but it was a solo exhibition by Alexander Kitaev, I wrote about it

This year is represented by many authors, removing the city on a film camera, and print their work manually.
The term "Petersburg School" began to be used recently. And, as Olga said Korsunova, curator of the exhibition, it's not entirely true, in the sense that the school is in fact involves teachers, pupils, a certain style, but here refers to the range of photographers, for whom Petersburg became a source of inspiration, and that lift it up so they see.
