Goat that lives in the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa Zoo, gave prosthesis leg, which he lost, hitting a trap poaching, the newspaper "Holos Ukrainy". An artificial leg at the local animal produced prosthetic factory.
According to the newspaper, a goat without the front right leg was found in 2011. He was released from the trap, and helped bring in Vinnytsia zoo where he lives. Until recently, it was rather difficult to move, he constantly stumbled and fell.
Take care to manufacture the prosthesis to the goat decided to employees of the company "Vinnitsaoblagroles," in whose territory the menagerie. Head of the company appealed to the Director of prosthetic plant Basil Lysak and told her about a legless goat. On prosthetic factory decided to help the animal, and eventually managed to make him an artificial leg.
"In our practice, yet there was no similar case. But we tried," - quoted Lysak edition. The goat was the first in Ukraine to animals from the zoo, get done for him by the prosthesis. Currently artiodactyls feels good and leads sedentary life.
Vinnitsa zoo was founded in 2005. A total of 400 animals live there, many of which are semi-life. Visitors can feed some of them.
