Biography
Alexander Ishin was born in 1941 in Ufa, where his family was evacuated. Since 1942 lives in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow secondary art school at the Surikov Institute, and in 1966 the Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov in the class VF Ryndin and M. Kurilko.
Student went on a creative trip in Norilsk. In the magazine "Youth" was held on the first solo exhibition of works devoted to the life of the northern city and performed in unusual for that era naively romantic style.
He worked in many genres - from painting and graphics to the facades and interiors of public buildings in various techniques (relief, mosaic, tempera painting, wood carving).
In the first painting was influenced by the national popular prints, kitsch postcards, urban folklore, naive art. In the early stages paid tribute to the "village" theme. Over the years, decorative gave way to the spiritual and philosophical quest and expressiveness.
More than 13 years in the State Specialized Institute of Arts, where he studied creative rehabilitation of people with disabilities. For five years he was its rector. Author of many scientific and methodological articles, summarizing his own creative and educational experience.
