Celebrating the 70th anniversary parade in 1941 held in Moscow and Samara.
Samara (then Kuibyshev) in the first year of the war actually was the second capital of the country - there was evacuated and many government ministries. November 7, 1941 there is also a military parade, the anniversary of which is now widely celebrated Samarans. Of course, the main parade was held in the early morning of the 41st at the Red Square in Moscow - that contributed to the weather. It was snowing, which is partially paralyzed flying enemy aircraft.
Nevertheless, it was shot down almost forty Nazi bombers, and no plane not reached the heart of the country. The parade lasted 25 minutes, after the men went at once to the front.
In Samara, was preparing a backup plan - on the personal order of Stalin's parade was to take place in any case.
Today, marking the 70th anniversary parade on November 7, the main area of the country went almost 7000 people.
Among them were representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Interior Troops and numerous youth and community education groups in Moscow. Marched and military equipment since the Great Letter of - T-34 tanks, antitank guns, "lorry" - GAZ-A, the legendary "Katyusha", motorcycles and wedgies.
