Suspected of harboring valuable works of art stolen from the Paris Museum of Modern Art last year, claims that in a panic threw mined in the trash.

In May 2010, had been stolen paintings by Picasso, Braque, Modigliani, Matisse and Leger, worth about 134 million dollars. These priceless works of art may have gotten into the garbage on the street in Paris and just be reworked with all the garbage that had accumulated there during the day. The first suspect, 34-year-old watchmaker, was identified by the French weekly magazine «Journal du Dimanche» Jonathan B. edition printed a detailed investigation in one of his recent numbers.

There are two other suspects: 56-year-old antique shop owner, who is accused of what he planned a robbery, and 43-year-old Serb, nicknamed "Spiderman", which is expected to climb the steep wall of Paris houses in search of valuable works art and other prey.

It was a Serb suspect that he fled with five paintings in the early morning of 20 May 2010. After he was detained by police, he said that he was going to steal just one painting - "Still Life with a candle," Fernand Léger. The work on the case began when a special police unit in France detained Serbs and the owner of an antique shop. It happened in May on suspicion of other crimes. Associated Press reported that a third suspect, Jonathan B, was questioned but released after.

After calling the police the attacker panicked and, in his words, threw in the trash can great works of art, "Dove with Green Peas," Picasso's "Pastorale" by Matisse, "Olive Tree near Estakya" Marriage, "Woman with a Fan" by Modigliani and Léger still life .

The shop owner denies ordering the crime, but the kidnapper said that the stolen works were brought to his accomplice, who passed them on to Jonathan B., whose French edition describes how the famous Parisian watchmaker.

All three were questioned and arrested in mid-September on charges of theft from the museum. Investigators do not exclude the possibility that the pictures can still be recovered.
