I am looking at the creativity of the artist George Shishkin has long been, from his personal exhibition in Moscow at the Central House of Arts in 1987, where I managed to visit. I was struck by his picture of their uniqueness, and above all, authenticity and depth.

In the same year was the presentation of his pictures on television, Sergei Kapitsa in the transfer of "Obvious, but incredible," the secrets of the psychological depths of man.

After this was probably not less than 10 exhibitions of his works in Moscow.

It is interesting to note that in 1995 Georgy Shishkin, seeking to preserve their creative freedom, refused an exclusive, profitable in monetary terms of the contract proposed by a Frenchman - the Parisian gallery owners, who was willing to open a gallery under his name in the center of Paris, to buy each of his next picture , give him a workshop and housing, as well as help to extend the visa in France, but there was one but ... Gallery owner did not understand and no interest in painting "Russian Dreams", viewing them as non-profit.

With George Shishkin exhibition in Cannes in 1995, the French bought four paintings of the artist, three of them - from the series "Russian Dreams", finding in them an expression of a new Russian style.

The expert and connoisseur of art, collaborated with Sotheby's, Lord Alistair Makalpayn (born Alistair McAlpine), visiting the Shishkin George exhibition in Paris, he devoted a story in the London magazine «The European magazine» entitled "An artist capture the mystery of Russia" (21-27 September 1995), noting the high skill of the artist. He bought one of his paintings.

With regard to public sales, I know some holdings of his works in the auction, noted in feedback from the press, for example,
Christie's auction in Monaco on March 6, 1999 among the works of 12 contemporary artists of world renown: Arman, Botero, Matta, et al Folon painting George Shishkina took 4 th place in terms of prices (Le Figaro, 20 March 1999). And in the sale, carried out
