Provenance is missing, has been bought by me in New York in the junk shop , mid-80s .

Oil. Canvas pasted on board , the state - below average. The hand on his shoulder that stained with : a black horizontal stripe , a part of the paint layer is lost.
The main reason for this treatment - paint flaking . Should I give a picture of a restoration ?

And what is the amount you risk paying for restoration work ? 5 tr ? More? How much work will look like after restoration? What will be its value after restoration without attribution ?
