Shillingovsky Pavel (1881-1942), a Soviet plot . Studied at Odessa Art School (1895-1900) and the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts ( 1901-14 ) in D. Kardovsky and VV Mate . He taught at the Leningrad Academy of Arts ( 1921-29 and 1935-37) . Created stricter in drawing, composition honed prints (series "Bessarabia ", etching , 1913, "St. Petersburg . Ruins and Revival" , woodcut , 1922-23 ; portraits of Lenin , 1924, Karl Marx , 1933 , - both woodcut ), worked as an illustrator (drawing "The Odyssey " by Homer , 1935) and painter.
