Alexei Vlasov - Honored Artist of Ukraine, but here, as usual, did not know about it a lot. Abroad, he is known far better - on personal exhibitions and works put up for auction at Sotheby's and Christie's. Now many of his paintings adorn the collection in Europe, America and Australia. Part of the legacy of waiting in the wings in the vaults of the Tretyakov Gallery, another part has settled in Switzerland, Croatia and even the United Arab Emirates. In Ukraine, where he studied and taught Vlasov, his large-scale exhibition for the first time. The organizers have chosen the right corresponding to the status of the author's place - National Museum of Art. The only pity is that the retrospective was posthumous, last year Vlasov died.
