По умолчанию Market appeal of video art

Good afternoon, everybody!

Gentlemen, after a visit to the Venice Biennale, I was left impressed by the number of video art in the halls. The situation looks as if the lack of projector in the pavilion is like a sign of bad taste or a dense retardation. Number of times a roller at the Biennale has exceeded the number of films viewed by me in the cinema over the past approximately 5 years, and of course reviewing all these moments, I had a desire to understand all this better. I hope there are members on the forum with expertise on the topic and willing to participate in the discussion.

Phenomenon and the essence of video art is really interested in me, of course, unfortunately, the forum is only 2 threads about this Video Art (X Media Forum) and A few words of Pablo Almodovar and video-art, but more all I'm interested in the technical and practical issues related to video art.

Let's start with the primary market. I have a huge desire to organize a project with video. As I understand there are 2 ways to present this video to a projector or monitor. Ie video on the disc, the question arises whether this is a simple disc (dvd) or a blyurey, or what?

How do you sell? Sale of the disk? Should there be a copy protection? How many copies are there? In general, how much production beginners video artists? Is there a secondary market?
