In St. Petersburg in the Russian Museum August 10 an exhibition of works by Konstantin Korovin (1861-1939), devoted to 150th anniversary of the artist. About this

The exhibition presents about 250 works by Korovin, written in different periods of his career. Among the exposed works - 23 panels created by the artist in 1923 for the Paris World Exhibition. As the RIA Novosti, the panel of more than 100 years have not been exhibited together.
Work, exposed in St. Petersburg, assembled from the collections of 15 Russian theatrical, artistic and literary museums and private collections. In addition to works by Korovin museum exhibit included photographs and other documentary material about the artist's life.
Konstantin Korovin, one of the most famous Russian impressionist, he graduated from architecture department of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 1900 he began to create the scenery for theatrical productions. In 1923 the artist moved to France.
