Family history of Cezanne:

Cézanne left the small town of Cesena (Cezana), now belonging to
Western Piedmont, and so until recently it was thought that they were
purely Italian origin. However, in the 17th century, as far as possible
judge by name, place was inhabited by families of French roots, and only in
1713 Treaty of Utrecht on the eastern slopes of the valley Bryankonne
(Brianconnais) were traded on the French Valley Barselonnet. Town
 Cezanne-Cesena thus became Italian. Cezanne family at the time
already moved (around 1650) in Besancon, that way for fifteen miles on
tract. Parish registers reported cases of shoe wizard Blaise Cezanne,
which of the two women had five or six children. Prior to 1700, one of the
branches of the family was still farther to the west - in Aix.
There, in the parish of Saint-Madeleine in August 1702 was born Jacques-Joseph, son of Denis
 Cezanne and Catherine Margrit. Denis, perhaps the eldest son Blaise. The third son,
Andre, who was born in April 1712, was perruquier - manufacturer
wigs or the barber, and that probably both. His wife, Marie Bugarel
gave birth to several children, one of whom, born November 14, 1756
, was Tama-François-Xavier Cezanne, a tailor. He married Rose and Rebyuffa

In this pedigree is remarkable that Paul came from among the many

Hatter, and about 1845 the firm was liquidated. Louis-Auguste couple of years
continued his own hat craft, after which he decided on a bold
step - to become a banker in the revolutionary 1848.
Even in a time when he was involved in their hats, Louis-Auguste met one
