27 and August 28, 2011 in St. Petersburg held a festival of computer art Chaos Constructions 2011 .
The festival began in 1995 as a "demo party" - a competition of programmers , artists and musicians in several categories , chief among which was DEMO - a program with strict limitations on the size of the executable code and system resources and implementing sophisticated audio- visual effects, often related to an interesting plot . Through complex calculations < on the fly > which squeezed out of the platform provided slightly greater than the maximum of its possibilities , DEMO shows the ability of its creators in programming, design and electronic music
