The National Gallery of Armenia
July 7 opening of printmaking exhibition (160 works), well-known masters of surrealist Salvador Dali's direction, Hans Bellmer, Leonor Fini, Giorgio de Kirk, and includes graphic sheets (woodcut), the founder of abstract art, Wassily Kandinsky. The name of the exhibition "Salvador Dali and the Surrealists."
In addition, the exhibition presents works (40 works) Armenian artists who had a noticeable influence of surrealism, or they adhered to this tendency, in particular, Yervant Kochar, Sergei Paradjanov, Mr. Hakobyan Levon Tutunjyan.
The works are from the collection of publisher's daughter, the famous painter Salvador Dali, Pierre Arzhile "Dali and the Surrealists." At a press conference held before the opening of the exhibition, the gallery director, "Arzhile" Christine Arzhile noted that for showing in Armenia has chosen the best 160 works, although there are four times more pictures. Arzhile also noted that the fashion show organized by his father in those countries where the value art, and Armenia is one such country.
This collection was established painter, graphic artist, sculptor and filmmaker, one of the brightest and most famous surrealist Salvador Dali and his publisher Pierre Arzhile for 50 years, their friendship and collaboration is one of the best works of the master.
The collection includes Arzhile prints, original works by Dali, and illustrations for books. The collection is constantly represented in the museum of Surrealism in France, which was once home Arzhile and Dali museum in Spain.

The exhibition runs until 15 October this year.
