Reviewing the topic forum, I found no information about the famous Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk. Against the background of many of the classics of Ukrainian painting, he is one of the leading places in international rankings, and is an unprecedented interest in his contemporaries.
Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk - one of hundreds of geniuses of our time
According to the rating of the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, a famous Ukrainian avant settled on 72 line rate by dividing it with the author of "Star Wars" American film director George Lucas, as well as composer and producer from the United States Rick Rubin, the German composer Hans Zimmer and other composers, philosophers, publishers, psychologists and computer geniuses.
"Too late to change anything ..."

- Very quiet. Phone now does not stop all calls, congratulations - this is nice.
- You are the world-famous artist. Do you need proof of genius in this way?
- Anyone who gets into these ratings can not make them nor discuss, nor to cancel. They just are, and all.
- What can wish for himself officially recognized as a genius?
- I wish a lot of sun. I'm leaving tomorrow for the city - if the sun will be good.
- And what you lack as an artist?
- I do not have enough normal shop. That attic, which is now working, too small for me. I can not write in her big picture, just not able to then pull down. How many times have asked our Union is artists highlight the studio, all in vain. Therefore, writing small paintings, and every day just to pick up on this attic. In any other country I could have conditions for work many times better. I'm still a serious artist. But in this country talents are not needed ...
- But you can easily change the situation and leave ...
- I live here, and I am no longer 30 or even 50. Too late to change anything.
