71-year old Frenchman Pierre Le Genneku and his wife formally charged with concealment of 271 works by Pablo Picasso, wrote on June 12 newspaper Le Monde. Was indicted after the fund manager rights to the legacy of Picasso, handed to the court certain materials relating to the case.
Pierre Le Gennek, an electrician by profession, said that he had stored 271 work of Spanish artist, Picasso's son and heir to Claude Picasso, in 2010. According to Le Genneka, all of the artist gave him a gift in the early 1970's - at the time of Le Gennek installed alarm systems and wiring to build the houses Picasso in France.
Claude Picasso, however, did not believe Le Genneku and accused him of stealing the works. In November 2010 the French authorities confiscated his all works of Picasso and began investigating the case. The investigation revealed many inconsistencies between the words of Le Genneka and facts. For example, many of the allegedly donated his works were created by Picasso before 1970, and in addition, the memories surrounding the artist, he gave his only work of his closest friends.

As noted in the article referred to the Heritage Foundation Picasso in court materials played an important role in the investigation, as the events that have become the subject of court proceedings had taken place 40 years ago, and many witnesses are no longer alive. Nevertheless, the representative of the court said that the fault of the couple has not yet proved, and talk about the outcome of the case yet.
To date, Pablo Picasso is one of the most expensive artists in the world - his painting "Nude on a background of green leaves and bust" belongs to the official record of the value of works of art (106.5 million dollars). Collection of works by Picasso, stored at Le Genneka was estimated by experts to 60 million euros.
