Author Lagorio (according to her husband Istselennova) Maria. She was born Sept. 8, 1893 in Warsaw. She studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, and then in St. Petersburg in EELansere, Nicholas Roerich and Ivan Bilibin. During the First World War, worked a nurse in the hospitals of St. Petersburg. She has participated in exhibitions of the World of Art "(1915-1917). Since 1920 in exile in Finland. Participant in an art exhibition in Porvoo (Finland). Married NI Istselenova. Then she moved with her husband in Germany (Dresden, Berlin) and Prague (1921-1925), and in 1925 in Paris. During the Second World War worked restorer in Avignon (France). Long-term member of society "icon" in Paris. Died March 16, 1979 in the Russian house in Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois. She was buried in the cemetery of Saint-Genevieve-des-Bois near Paris.
Her father (a cousin of Leo Feliksovich Lagorio) Alexander E. Lagorio (1852 -1917) - The famous Russian Petrology, Professor at the Department of Mineralogy at the Imperial Warsaw universitete.Obe daughter of Alexander Paton became painters:
