In my opinion , can not but admire this fine work of M. roll with her own paintings by the religious theme . Moreover, not only in the interpretation of the image of saint ( in this case, Jesus himself ), but, surprisingly , in the color decision .
It's amazing how three-dimensional thing ( made the most frugal means ) was able to absorb the best and most characteristic part of the coloristic painting ! Focus is in itself not being painted with an eye to the painting, but only through a very precise selection and combination of different materials . This, I think , could not have achieved even Gauguin Picasso
