Japanese prints . The exhibition includes a collection of Japanese color woodcuts School Ukiyo - e from the funds of the Krasnodar Museum of Art . Most of it , 190 graphic works , was transferred from the NKVD in the 20 years of the last century .
In 1998-1999 . collection was exhibited in Matsumoto ( Japan ) , was issued a catalog of the Japanese language. It became known that the product Toekuni Utagawa " Warrior Sogagora Tokimune " - the world's only preserved specimen.
The collection includes engravings of the most famous artists of the Edo : Hokusai Katsushika , Kunisady Utagawa , Eysena Casey Eydzana Kikugavy , Itiryusaya Hirosige . Style ukiyo- e "is the sketches of everyday life . The focus of art were beautiful ladies , actors and scenes from theatrical productions, the scene of contemplation of nature , festivals and fireworks . Over time, these topics were added illustrations of literary works and military books .
