Baron Nikolai von Klodt Yurgensburg (1865-1918) - Russian painter , landscape painter, theater artist .
Nikolai Klodt in 1886 graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Taught him to draw well-known artists Vladimir Makovsky and ES Sorokin .
In preparation for the World Exposition 1900 held in Paris Klodt actively participated in the design of the Russian pavilion .
Since 1901 Nikolai worked as a theater artist in the theaters of Moscow and St. Petersburg .
NA Klodt was one of the founders of the of the Union of of Russian Artists (1903 ) and worked as a teacher in his home for a college from 1902 to 1918 .
Nikolai Klodt participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Lovers of Fine Arts (1889 , 1892-1895 , 1897 ), MTH ( 1893-1895 , 1899 , 1901 ), the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (1894 ) , " 36 Artists " ( 1901 , 1902 ), " Union of Russian Artists ( 1903-1917 ) .
