Lev Bruni was born on July 8, 1894 in g.Malaya Vishera Novgorod province. In the years 1910-1911 comes as a volunteer at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1912, lives in Paris, visits the Academy zhivopinuyu R. Julien.

in 1913, returned to St. Petersburg and is actively involved in the work: prints pictures in the magazines "The Voice of Life," "A new magazine for all", "Top" and t.d.V March 1916 participated in a Moscow exhibition of futuristic "Shop "deployed in the shop at Petrovka 17 and organized by Vladimir Tatlin and Alexander Rodchenko, where exhibits Constructivist objects. In 1918, the company participates in the exhibition "World of Art", at the end of the year goes to the South Urals, in Miass, where he teaches drawing and painting in a secondary school. In 1922 he exhibited work at the First Russian Art Exhibition in Berlin. Included in "Merging of new trends in art," chaired by Vladimir Tatlin, participates in two shows this unification. In 1923 he became a professor of graphic, and then separation of the monumental painting faculty of Art Workshops. In 1924, shows work at the fourteenth International Art Exposition. In 1927 he participated in the exhibition of the latest trends in art at the State Russian Museum. From 1930 to 1938 taught at the Moscow Institute of Fine iskusstv.S in 1935, along with VA VAFavorskiy directs studio of monumental painting, performs a series of panels for the Soviet pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937, draws up the shop, working in fresco technique. In 1939, draws up the exhibition "Azerbaijan SSR in the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition in Moscow. In 1947, the State Literary Publishing House published "Lyrics" Nizami with illustrations by L. Bruni. Lev Bruni died in Moscow on February 26, 1948.
