Пока нашел только это (см. вложение). Скорее всего, как и Ваша картина, - копия с одного и того же оригинала. Но какого? Возможно, что оригинал вообще утрачен. Впрочем, к этой копии прилагался следующий комментарий:

Framed oil on canvas, Roman Charity, Continental School, 17th Century, unsigned, sight: 27.5''h x 21.5''w, overall: 33.5''h x 27.5''w. Provenance: According to letters written by the former owner of this painting, G.F. Richardson of the Southern Pacific Company, the piece was purportedly found among the contents of a sailing vessel that arrived at San Francisco ca. 1850. It was removed from the ship to a warehouse until it came into the possession of Richardson's family. Exhibited: Bohemian Club, ca. 1921. Note: Painting accompanied by original letters and articles discussing the piece, including an article in the 1936 edition of California Monthly.
