The first Tuesday of each month at the SF MOMA free entrance, crowded, but without the crowds. You can meet lots of friends, many arrive just in time to visit the museum free day. Also opened the main exposition, which begins with Matisse and Braque.
 Why with Matisse? The fact that the U.S. Modern Art does not mean modern art. Modern is somewhere between 1905 and 1970. Next comes the really contemporary art, which is termed Contemporary.
