Birshtein Max Avadevich (1914, Kiev - 2000, Tarusa).

Participated in exhibitions since 1939, author portraits, landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes from the life of the Russian North 1950 - 1960. (In the years 1945-1954. In 1968 he participated in exhibitions of Soviet art in Poland, Romania, England, Holland, Spain, Senegal, France, USA, Germany and Japan. In 1982 he went solo exhibition in West Berlin in 1984 - in Moscow in 1995 - participated in the exhibition «Sotheby's». In 1995 he was a retrospective solo exhibition "The World Artist" (Central House of Artists, Moscow). The artist's works are held in many private collections.
