Born in 1939 in Moscow. After the Moscow Art School (MSHSH) enters the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), where as a student of the Faculty of Arts, draws his first theatrical productions on the stages of training and fighting positions theaters GITIS (State Institute of Theatrical Art): "The Player" by J. Renyara and "The Threepenny Opera" by Brecht. Upon graduation he worked two years at the Mosfilm as art director, and then under contract at the Maly Theater - the first dramatic scene in Russia, where as a set designer draws up a play of Russian and foreign classics.
