The most expensive lot was an illustration with the caption "He went, and Piglet ran after him, which was sold for 115,250 pounds, almost twice the estimate. Image of Christopher Robin called "Boom, boom, boom - up the stairs from the last chapter of the book" Winnie the Pooh "went over the 97,250 pounds, is also much more expensive than anticipated.

At the London bid was put up the greatest collection of Shepard's drawings for books about Winnie the Pooh. British artist Ernest Howard Shepard was born in 1879 and died in 1976. He is famous for the illustrations to 'Winnie the Pooh ", although, according to some, disliked" this silly old bear ", because he eclipsed his other works. Model for Pooh teddy bear was not the son of Milne, and a toy that belonged to his son Shepard. Bear then gave the granddaughter of the artist, but it destroyed the neighbor's dog.
