"This is the case when we can say that the story gives an estimate of the works of the great painter Minas Avetisyan," - said on November 24 in Yerevan at a press conference, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
According to him, placing the artist's masterpieces Minas in this building, the Government thereby expresses his attitude to the values of art in general and the Minas in particular.
"When Minas Avetisyan dining Leninakan Electrotechnical Plant (now Gyumri), created these works, he probably had no idea that in time they will be in the building of the Armenian government and become a real masterpiece of art" - said the prime minister.
He also added that, probably, over time, murals will be moved to another location, but "it must be carefully selected to be worthy to take these great works." "And while the frescoes are here and we will make sure they were available to the public", - said Tigran Sargsyan.
