Gregory L. Dummies - a bright and original artist
managed to say their weighty word in art. Throughout its short
creative life, he remained loyal to the principles that
guided by his teacher - folk artists of the USSR AP and SP
Tkachev: follow the traditions of Russian realistic art
reflect the truth of life, sing of the beauty of his native land.
Linens Chainikova have high professional
skill, spontaneity and sincerity, all of them
combined single leitmotif - the love of their country, regardless
which, as acknowledged by the author himself, he did not think of himself or
creativity. Tver, Ryazan, Arkhangelsk region, Vyatka
Solovki Balaam - in the view of the artist turned out to be the most
remote corners of Russia. In his landscapes captured unique
Russian nature: the endless expanses of forest, river, quiet northern
village. In the genre paintings of the artist deeply and poetically, with some
piercing the correctness of the unpretentious world
rural life.
A special place in the art Chainikova takes the genre of the portrait. Bright,
specific characters in his canvases always attract the eye, their
features a seamless, harmonious correspondence between the external and
internal content. Appears before the audience is not just a portrait
this is a story about a man, the image is not so much a person as
character, his lived experiences, aspirations and experiences.
Gregory Dummies seen life in its diversity, could rise from
everyday to a high generalization of full-scale nature of perception
to its artistic understanding.
