The undisputed top lot November auction - painting Konchalovsky
«Oaks» 1921 (estimate: 8.7 million) . The work belongs to his famous cycle of landscapes Abramtzevo created in 1920 - 1921, respectively. Here, in the former estate Mamontov, Konchalovsky found for himself a welcome source of inspiration - a beautiful oak grove.
