In the 70 years of the last century, with a picture of "Where is the give blood?" artist Pyotr Konchalovsky occurred an interesting story. I decided to go to Kotovsk which had never been. Walked through the town, near the movie theater was, and I bought a ticket for the next session. In the lobby there were chairs. Just wanted to sit on one of them, I saw a painting. It was huge and occupied an entire wall from floor to ceiling. I began to study painting. It was something very familiar, somewhere I've already seen this story.
But this is the famous canvas Konchalovsky's wartime image picture more than once published in the magazine Ogonyok in the form of color inserts and on picture postcards. Began to look for the signature on the painting. The letters were almost all worn out, but hard to read, "Konchalovsky. Of course, the movie, I never went the whole session stood in the picture.

And in a week Konchalovsky's famous painting "Where is the give blood?" was transferred to the regional art gallery and sent for restoration.
