The Louvre will decide on Thursday or Friday of the problem with the display of the Russian exhibition "Counterpoint: Contemporary Russian Art", from which the decision of the Ministry of Culture of Russia expelled four works by the artist Avdei Ter-Oganyan, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press service of the museum.
Recall, an exhibition of Russian art to be revealed on October 14 at the Louvre in the Year of Russia and France.
Earlier it was reported that Rosokhrankultura, administered by the Ministry of Culture of Russia, did not allow to be exported from Russia to France four of Avdei Ter-Oganyan a series of "radical abstraction, originally selected to be shown at Paris exhibition curator Marie-Laure Bernadac. Louvre know that other artists have expressed solidarity with the Ter-Oganyan, but does not comment on the decision of Russians.

For his part, General Commissioner of the Year of Russia and France, Nicolas Shibaev hopes that the exhibition will feature all the declared product.
"We work closely with the Louvre that this show was. I hope that we will hold an exhibition of the way it was conceived, with the works of artists - as Ter-Oganyan, and the other" - said Shibaev.
He noted that the final decision on holding the exhibition remains with the Louvre. According to the Commissioner, the museum will decide what priority: the organization of the exhibition or the presence of her works Ter-Oganyan.
