"Arhnadzor has offered to save Moscow from Tsereteli's sculptures
Public Movement "Arhnadzor" proposed to remove from Moscow all the sculptures by Zurab Tsereteli, located at the Manege Square and other "conspicuous places in the city, Interfax reported.
According to the coordinator of motion Konstantin Mikhailov, Zurab Tsereteli, "have nice and interesting work, he's a talented sculptor, but for them, unfortunately, the city has no place." The sculptures, which can be seen in the capital, "spoil the historic appearance of Moscow." Mikhaylov This work proposes to place in any park, "as received after the end of the communist era with Soviet monuments."
In this case, Mikhailov noted that transportation Tsereteli sculptures in a specially reserved place for them is not a priority. "We must, above all, to deal with the perishing historical monuments and remove them from the balance between life and death" - he said.
At the same time gallerist Marat Gelman believes that the new mayor who will replace Yuri Luzhkov, must first rid Moscow of a monument to Peter the Great on Bersenevskaya waterfront. This sculpture of Tsereteli was erected in 1997. Gelman also said that in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation has established a working group to prepare proposals for improving the appearance of the capital for the future mayor.

know Zurab personally, and I respect him, and as an artist and as a person, but nevertheless totally agree with Mikhailov and Gelman - it's too much Tsereteli in Moscow.
