At the auction will be presented two more graphic work of Boris Kustodiev lithography "On the Volga" and "Bather" 1921 from the famous album "Sixteen autolithography B. Kustodiev. After the revolution of the artist to master a new technique for himself: he made drawings lithographic pencil on the so-called kornpapire, and then they were transferred to lithographic stone. The resulting lithograph surprisingly tender, as it is the master sends to black and white graphics language his paintings. Two sheets of the album, released a limited edition (300 copies), is estimated at 150-180 thousand.
Boris Kustodiyev is among the most expensive Russian artists on this auction statistics. Another top lot auction - a picture of Isaak Brodsky (1884-1939) "Academic Dacha. At the lake. Evening "in 1906 (estimate 7,5-11 million). Early, pre-revolutionary works of Isaak Brodsky rightly appreciated by professionals and recent high demand on the antiques market. In June 2009, at Sotheby's auction in London painting "nurse children" in 1912 was sold for 937,250 pounds (more than 1,5 million dollars).
