With Vladimir Bowls-Oglu I know more than twenty years and all this time the artist never ceases to amaze me the creative delights, and "Shaft" works, and his asceticism, and his eccentricity. This is an artist, a frightening man in the street, an implacable critic of fellow artists, the destroyer of traditional values.
If, I were asked to define his art in one word - the most appropriate word would be the word - MYSTERY. Mystery, mystery is present in all his works. A common thread runs through it all his work.
I can not say that he was deprived of the attention of the press, television, gallery owners - but it somehow fell swoop, episodically. What a blast! And ... silence before the next explosion.
Almost all of the maestro is in a very precarious financial situation. Sometimes there is no money for paint or the canvas, so in the course are all available materials.
Unusually prolific artist, does not think himself out of creativity, in constant search.
"The reality is - it is now. Past and future - products of mind, they do not have a reality "- says the artist. Many works appeared in the course consciously - the spontaneous creative process.
