Tatarnikov Seraph A. (1907, Belev, Tula Province. - 1987, Mariupol)
A painter, graphic artist.
He studied at the Leningrad Institute of proletarian art (from 1933), which was sent to IV Michurin as an employee of Selection and Genetics station behalf IV Michurin, who has shown great aptitude for artistic case (Michurinsk - former Kozlov). He fought on the Leningrad front, made lots of sketches of life at the front. In besieged Leningrad lost his wife, remarried in 1960 to Olga Mikhalenko (born in Mariupol), who shared with him lessons in painting. After the war he lived and worked in Leningrad, then changed several places of residence. Recent years have lived in Mariupol (1984-1987), the home of his wife. Lyric in his work and life, he wrote poetry. Exhibitions. Until the last days he was friendly with his classmate - a famous artist Benjamin Cipero (1907-1980).
