Grigory Rasputin was born in 1869 in the Siberian village Pokrovs'ke Tobolsk Province. This settlement is located in Western Siberia, between the towns of Tyumen and Tobolsk. Gregor had a special love for horses. He could spend hours to spend time in his father's stables, petting horses and talking with them, and it seemed that the animals understand him. He learned to take care of them, rubbing a scraper.

As a teenager Gregory already had a strong character. In games with peers Gregory has always been the guiding and friends feared him and obeyed him.
Once it became clear that he has strange supernatural powers - clairvoyance. When he was ill during an attack of fever in the house of parents, neighbors gathered there and discussed the issue of the missing horse. Suddenly, Gregory rises from the bed, and as if in a dream, indicates a man and said that it was he who stole the horse. And indeed, soon tracked him down and peasants caught at night when he quietly withdrew from his yard stolen horse.
