It was sold through an agent Straybisa (Strijbis) and dealer Hogendeyka (Hoogendijk) of Rotterdam shipowners Van Buningenu (DG van Beuningen) of 1.6 million guilders (£ 4,000,000).
Van Buningen only partially paid for with money now, most were paid "less valuable" works of art. Moreover, one of the "less valuable paintings was fake the same Van Meegerena -" Head of Christ "
