For some reason I immediately thought that the painting depicts members of one family (of a community?), And all the allegory in any way refer to their relationship.
Accordingly, all the "strange" attributes does not quite mythological character. Perhaps it refers to specific events, known to family members, or their personal qualities.
Ie I would not be looking here strict compliance with the mythological plot; and if we assume that the heroes of myths represent specific people, the existence of several characters "from different operas" is understandable.
