If we consider from this standpoint, the critic is not the alter ego of the artist, but rather, his psychoanalyst. The artist is not always possible to determine from which sprouts his work, from what depths of the subconscious come up certain motifs, colors, even the size of the work can speak for itself. But by analyzing the artist's personality, a good critic is really holding his head in the history of art, from rock paintings to the present day.
