American actor and director Dennis Hopper died at his home in Venice, California. The cause of death of 74-year-old actor has prostate cancer, Reuters reports with reference to the actor's close.
Malignant tumor was diagnosed in Hopper in late 2009. Shortly thereafter, the actor was undergoing medical treatment to a special program at the University of Southern California, with projections of doctors of the public were reported. Owing to illness, Hopper had to cancel all international travel and skip his own exhibition of paintings and photographs in Australia.
Dennis Hopper was famous in the mid 50-ies through roles in the film "Rebel without an ideal" and "Giant." The producer's work of Hopper, the film of 1969 "Easy Rider", was recognized by the Library of Congress national cultural heritage of America.
Dennis Hopper twice nominated for Oscars and was awarded a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. He weighed over a hundred films and was a director of eight paintings.
