По умолчанию Opening of the Chinese emperor bought for a record amount

The Swiss pair of watches sold at record price of 2.6 million Swiss francs (1.45 million pounds sterling). On this Wednesday in the newspaper The Times.

Two watches with a mirror image of two women and a child produced in 1815. In 1816 the little thing was donated by the British King George III to the Chinese emperor Jiaqing.

Watches, generations were kept in a Chinese family, were bought at the Geneva Antiquorum auction sort of a Chinese collector. The buyer paid the largest amount ever offered for the watch. For comparison, watch one of the crew of "Titanic" has recently gone under the hammer for 92 thousand pounds sterling, and table clocks in 1623 production - 120 thousand pounds sterling.
