Painter and graphic set designer

In the early 1900's he studied at MUZHVZ KA Korovin, and SV Malyutina. Lived in Moscow. He painted landscapes, genre paintings, in charge poster. He worked as an artist in the Moscow Art Theater (1906-1913), the Free Theatre. Since mid-1920 to mid-1930 he worked as an artist for various film studios, designed the films "Enemies" (1924), "The Cross and the Mauser", "Gold Reserve" (both - 1925), "Bay of Death" (1926) , "Kiss of Mary Pickford" (1927), "Shining City" (1928), "Quiet Flows the Don" (1930), "Elegant Life" (1932) and others.
He participated in the IX National exhibition of paintings of artists of a trade union (1919), exhibition of paintings Society of Artists of the Moscow school (1923), TPHV (1923), the first exhibition kinoplakata (1925), group exhibition, 20 th anniversary of the Red Army (1938), in Moscow and others.
The works are in several museum of regional meetings.
