In the period before the Second World War Seago is constantly in search of new experiences. He had the talent to easily make friends who helped him win acceptance in various circles of society, the pre-war England. At age 18, Seago joined a traveling circus Bevin, communication with whom he maintained for many years. Just as Laura Knight and Alfred Munnings, he was captured by the glamorous and bohemian life of a circus. During that period of his life Seago acquainted with one of the most influential of his patrons - Henry Mond, 2 nd Lord Melchettskim. He was invited to the country manor Melchett, Woodfalls, where numerous methods have met with many celebrities - George Bernard Shaw, HG Wells, Augustus John and others.
