In Kiev will be held the first auction of the young Ukrainian contemporary art
May 14, 2010 in the Kiev Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine (st. Glybochytska, 17) will open the exhibition, which will auction a collection of young Ukrainian Contemporary Art
On the opening day will feature the works of young artists who, despite his age, now determine trends in the Ukrainian art. The exhibition will include works of such well-known in Ukraine and abroad authors as Xenia Gnilitskaya, Nikita Kadan, Lesya Khomenko (team members REP), Nicholas Ridnyi (group SOSka), Alexei Salmanov, Artem Volokitin, etc.
Nevertheless, as reported by the organizers of Korrespondent.net exhibitions, focus on the organizers are doing to young artists, whose names are unknown to the general public.
The basis of the exposition was beautiful work, but it will also include video art, animation, graphics, modern sculpture and photography. In total, the exhibition will present works by over one hundred artists.
May 22 all the exhibits presented at the opening day, will be exhibited on the auctions of the first ever auction of the young Ukrainian contemporary art.
