Artist Nikolai Spiridonov was born November 15, 1961 in the city of Magadan. In 1965 his family moved to Belarus, in the city of Gomel, which Nicholas began to get acquainted with the figure, engaged in a local art studio of the Palace of Pioneers. Since 1979 he lives and works in St. Petersburg, here brings his destiny with well-known representatives of the St. Petersburg underground: VV Havrylchyk, YI Dyshlenko, ZM Kolovsky, IV Ivanov.

More than seven years N. Spiridonov working in the studio under the direct supervision Vladlena Vasilyevich Havrylchyk. Studio of Young Artists, organized by Havrylchyk, called "circle drawing. Here we study such specialization as a genre picture, women and children portrait, still life, bark.

Nicholas is studying at the same time practice a creative method of Yuri Ivanovich Dyshlenko and met with the theoretical course "Penta-system".

At the same time, namely in 1982, the artist enters the Leningrad Art-Professional School. VI Fly (now St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry) at the Faculty of Industrial Art and Design.
