Auction house Christie's in New York puts May 4 at the annual evening auction of impressionist and modernist dozens of masterpieces of the greatest artists of the past century - Renoir, Monet, Pissarro, Dali, Kandinsky.
The most expensive artist is expected to again become a Pablo Picasso. His canvas "Nude on a background of green leaves and bust" can beat the world record sales of works of art.

ITAR-TASS referring to the representative of Christie's, experts estimate that masterpiece in the 70-90 million dollars, but the excitement around the painting, which is not exhibited on sale the last 50 years, could affect the substantial increase in its final price.
Today, the most expensive lot is a bronze sculpture of Alberto Giacometti "Walking Man", which was sold in February this year at Sotheby's for 104.3 million dollars.
"Nude as ...", and over 50 other paintings of different artists, exhibited on May 4 at the evening auction Christie's, went to the auction house of the dead in November last year at age 93 of a rich American from Los Angeles, Sidney Brody.
At the auction will also be exhibited painting by Henri Matisse's "Nude on a blue cushion, Giacometti's bronze sculpture" Big head Diego, and his early work, entitled "Cat." Another will be offered for sale "Self-Portrait" by Jean Edward Vyuyera, two bronze sculptures by Edgar Degas, Modigliani Watercolour and rare collection of six paintings by Picasso.
Among the lots are put up, and two works by Russian painter, one of the founders of abstraction by Wassily Kandinsky. Both paintings are in private collections in the United States and relate to the later period of the artist, representing the "expressive and very typical for Kandinsky's work."
The first picture - small in size "sketch for a painting with the orange frame" - written in 1916 specifically for sale at an exhibition in Germany. It is a sketch for a large-scale canvas of the oil, which was destroyed during the Second World War. This picture professionals auction house estimated at 500-700 thousand dollars.
