Pictures should be photographed on the street under natural sunlight in the shade. ...
Flares, reflectors, color filters when photographing paintings use highly undesirable.
Natural sunlight does not allow comfortable all year. It is hard to drag out dozens of paintings of large size. In the sunlight, like a shadow, will have to run - the sun does not stand still.

Flashes and reflectors make it possible once set up in the studio light and then work continuously. Again, I do not recommend using ordinary lamps with incandescent bulbs - they are yellow, because they have a color temperature of 2700-3000 degrees Kelvin. However, this can be overcome by setting up "white balance", as has already been written on the subject. I bought a pulsed flash with a color temperature of approximately 5600 degrees Kelvin, which corresponds to sunlight.

Color filters - I agree, no need, as introduce distortions in color. They are required only for artistic effects. We also want to re-shoot the picture as accurately as possible.
